How To Make Meatloaf Cupcakes with Whipped Potato Topping
Let’s break down the process of making Meatloaf Cupcakes with Whipped Potato Topping into manageable steps to ensure your culinary success:
- Preparation: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C) and readying your muffin pan with a nonstick spray. This prep work ensures a smooth baking process and easy release of the meatloaf cupcakes.
- Mix the Ingredients: In a large bowl, thoroughly combine the ground beef, onions, breadcrumbs, tomato sauce, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and mustard seed. Mixing well is crucial for flavor distribution and texture.
- Fill the Muffin Pan: Spoon the meat mixture into the muffin cups, filling each to just below the rim. This allows the meatloaf to expand slightly without overflowing.
- Add the Glaze: Top each meatloaf muffin with a small spoonful of ketchup before baking. This glaze will enhance flavor and provide a visually appealing finish.
- Bake: Place the pan in the oven and bake for 30 minutes or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the tops are slightly caramelized.

Each substitution not only tailors the cupcakes to your taste but also infuses a personal touch into this home-style classic.
