- Brownie Mix Prep: Prepare your brownie mix as per the box instructions. This step is your foundation, so follow it closely!
- Filling the Tin: Evenly distribute the brownie batter into the tin using an ice cream scoop for consistency.
- Baking Time: Bake for about 20 minutes. You're looking for a mostly clean cake tester with a few crumbs clinging on - the secret to perfect gooeyness.
- Cooling and Indenting: Let them cool briefly, then gently press the back of a spoon in the center of each brownie to create a little nest for your peanut butter.
- Peanut Butter Melting: Melt the peanut butter in the microwave, stirring until smooth. This step adds a creamy, dreamy layer to your brownies.
- Adding the Good Stuff: Spoon a small amount of melted peanut butter into each indentation, then sprinkle generously with chocolate and peanut butter chips.
- Final Touch: Let the brownies cool in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack. Resist the urge to devour immediately!
How to Keep Your Peanut Butter Cup Brownies Fresh:

Ingredients
- One package of high-quality boxed brownie mix
- One-quarter cup of smooth peanut butter
- A quantity of semi-sweet chocolate chips as preferred
- An adequate amount of peanut butter morsel chips
Instructions
- Commence by preheating your oven to a temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Proceed to grease a 12-cup cupcake pan or, alternatively, a mini muffin tin should you desire bite-sized portions.
- Prepare the brownie mix in strict accordance with the instructions provided on the packaging.
- Utilizing an ice cream scoop or a similar utensil, distribute the brownie mixture evenly into the prepared tin to ensure uniformity in size.
- Bake the brownies in the preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes. The baking is considered complete when a cake tester inserted into the center of a brownie emerges mostly clean, albeit with a few crumbs attached.
- After baking, allow the brownies to cool for a brief period. Subsequently, use the back of a spoon to gently create an indentation in the center of each brownie.
- Melt the peanut butter in a microwave oven for 30 seconds, then stir it until it attains a smooth consistency.
- Carefully spoon a small quantity of the melted peanut butter into each indentation previously made in the brownies.
- Garnish the brownies by adding both chocolate and peanut butter chips on top.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before transferring them to a wire rack. This process is necessary for the brownies to firm up.
- Store the brownies in a sealed container to maintain freshness, unless they are to be consumed immediately.
