Ingredients Notes

Every ingredient in this recipe for Oreo-Stuffed Cinnamon Rolls plays a pivotal role in crafting these indulgent treats. Here’s a closer look at what you’ll need and why:

• Pillsbury Grands cinnamon rolls: The foundation of our recipe, these ready-made rolls offer convenience and a guaranteed fluffy texture.
• Heavy cream: Drizzled over the dough, it soaks into the rolls, making them even more luxurious.
• Cream cheese: Optional but recommended, it lends the icing a creamy depth that beautifully complements the sweetness of the Oreos.
• Oreo cookies: The star of the show, adding that beloved cookies-and-cream flavor and a satisfying crunch.

How To Make Oreo-Stuffed Cinnamon Rolls

Ready to make your own batch of Oreo-Stuffed Cinnamon Rolls? Follow these detailed steps to ensure perfect results every time:

1. Preparation: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F and lining your surface with parchment paper. This keeps things clean and prevents sticking.
2. Unroll and Fill: Unwrap your cinnamon rolls and lay them flat, cinnamon side up. Evenly sprinkle the crumbled Oreos over each strip for that cookies and cream sensation.
3. Roll and Arrange: Re-roll each strip tightly to encase the Oreo crumbles. Arrange them in your baking pan, allowing a little space for them to expand.
4. Add Cream and Bake: Pour the heavy cream over and around the rolls in the pan; this will help them bake to a golden perfection. Place in the oven and bake until they’re just right.
5. Icing Magic: While the rolls are baking, mix the reserved icing with softened cream cheese until smooth. Once the rolls are done, lavish them with this creamy icing and sprinkle with extra Oreo crumbles.

Storage Options

These Oreo-Stuffed Cinnamon Rolls taste best when served warm and fresh but don't fret if you have leftovers! They can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days, ensuring the icing doesn’t become too runny. For longer storage, keep them in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze them for a month. Just reheat in the microwave for a warm, gooey treat anytime!

Variations and Substitutions

Flexibility is key in any kitchen, and this Oreo-Stuffed Cinnamon Rolls recipe offers plenty of room to tweak:

• Vegan Options: Substitute the Pillsbury rolls with a vegan-friendly dough and use coconut cream and vegan cream cheese.
• Gluten-Free: Swap the regular cinnamon rolls for a gluten-free variety to accommodate dietary needs without compromising on taste.
• Different Cookies: Not a fan of Oreos? Try using chocolate chip cookies or even snickerdoodles for a different twist on this delightful recipe.
